ABOUT OUR FAMILY
AARON:
Aaron was born on October 31, 1969. He was always a precocious child that was forever curious about how things worked. He read a lot and carried the burden of having to be the oldest child with all its expectations. He is only one year and one day older than his brother Jared. The competition between them was endless. An early entrepreneur, he tried to get into real estate investment before he was even 18. He graduated from college as a business major and has worked for Novell and Microsoft. He is now the CEO of The James Smith Company (www.jamessmithcompany.com), a real estate investment firm. He is married to Nancy Felt and they have 5 children: Jamison, Madalyn, Daniel, Ryan and Jackson. They all live in Utah.
JARED:
Jared was born on November 1, 1970. He was a bundle of energy and walking by the time he was eleven months old. He grew so fast, that he always looked older than his friends and everyone thought he was our oldest son. He loves music and singing and being an entrepreneur. He also is the first to defend the underdog in any situation. He is strong willed and determined. He is married to Heather Henderson and they have four children: Alexis, Paige, Landon and Jocelyn. Jared and his wife own a furniture store called Osmond Designs. They also own a number of rental properties. Jared built a recording studio in his basement that rents it to clients and it is where he records his music. You can learn more about Jared's music career by going to www.jaredosmond.com. VIRGINIA:
Virginia (or Gina as she prefers to be known) was born on April 15, 1972. She loved sports, skiing, running and is very competitive. In high school she was a cheerleader and made us a nervous wreck with the difficult gymnastic routines she used to perform. She is a very independent person who was determined from an early age to achieve whatever she wanted on her own with no help from anyone else. She works hard at everything she does. She was a corporate executive assistant when she met her husband Gary Gysin, a CEO at Noveat the company where she worked. They have 4 children: Jessica, Conner, Jordan, and Hunter. Gina and her family live in Northern California.
DAVID:
David was born on December 6, 1974. He was a loving, hugging little boy. He was also very observant and he loved to read. He has a flashing smile and a gentle nature. He fell in love with drums and percussion in school and loved music so much he majored in it in college. After graduating, he was asked to be the road manager for the Osmond Brothers for a couple of years. Later he went into sales for a couple of prominent companys and did very well, but has gone back to his first love of music and now teaches and performs. He also loves to cook and bake and is ramping up his new company called Osmond Pie Company. You can learn more about it by going to www.osmondpiecompany.com. He has three beautiful children who are the light of his life: Jacqueline, Savannah and Joshua. 
OLIVIA:
Olivia was born on March 30, 1976. She was a loving and affectionate child. She was our first artist. She enjoys sculpture, stained glass, painting, drawing and print design. She studied Painting and Drawing at the University of Utah. She has a caring, compassionate nature. She worries about and tries to help people who are struggling through hard times. Whether a friend or a stranger, she will reach out where she sees a need. She loves to thrift shop and hates to pay retail for anything. She is also an exceptional interior designer and can decorate a home on a dime. She married her boyfriend of six years, Jason, in 2007. They live in San Diego, California
HYRUM:
Hyrum was born on September 2, 1977. Again, he was another very loving and tender hearted child. He is our second artist – or, I should say cartoonist. Since he was a very small child, he has been animating characters. He made wonderful and funny cartoon birthday banners for all our family for years until our family got so big, it became hard to keep up. He majored in animation in college. His dream was to work for Disney Studios. In 2007 he achieved his dream and became a Disney animator. His first project was the movie “Bolt” where he did a major part of animating the hamster character Rhino. He is married to Becky Smith and they have three children: Andrew, Timothy, and Ellie Joy. They live in Southern California.
JOSEPH:
Joseph was born on November 16, 1978. The caboose of our family, he and Hyrum became these inseparable buddies. They were on the drum line of their high school marching band together with their brother David. Three drummers - our house vibrated for years. Joseph was the academic one in the family. AP classes through school, he graduated in Social Work and is now in his second year of Law School at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. after taking a two year detour between them to be a police officer! When asked what kind of laywer is wants to become, he always answers, “An honest one!” He is married to Julia Powell and they have three children: Samantha, Quin and Tyson. They live in Maryland.
